The candidate will analyze provider and claims data, ensure regulatory compliance (especially CMS/Medicare/Medicaid), and deliver accurate reporting and insights. Strong stakeholder communication, project management, and leadership skills are required, including the ability to guide junior staff and cover managerial responsibilities. Top Responsibilities Requirement Gathering & Documentation Work with multiple departments to understand and translate business needs into IT solutions. Define technical solutions and collaborate with tech teams to deliver them. Document business requirements, assist in test cases, and manage issue resolution. Analytics & Reporting Provide insights using provider and medical claims data Experience working with CMS (Medicare/Medicaid) is preferred Focus on compliance and accurate reporting Stakeholder Management Liaise with executives and cross-functional teams including Provider Networking, Actuarial, Contracting, etc. Deliver presentations and communicate data insights effectively Influence decision-makers and participate in strategic planning Leadership & Project Oversight Provide guidance to less experienced colleagues Possibly step into managerial duties (due to team members going on maternity leave) Oversee multiple projects simultaneously with strong prioritization and project management skills Key Skills & Experience Required Healthcare/Insurance Industry Knowledge At least 3+ years of experience in Provider Networking or Health Care Management Familiarity with claims data, provider performance, contracts, and network reporting Strong understanding of regulatory/compliance needs (Medicare, Medicaid, CMS) Technical and Analytical Skills Solid experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence Proficiency in Excel, Visio, PowerPoint Knowledge of solution development lifecycle and possibly Agile methodologies Preferred: Familiarity with Epic Systems and clinical data Soft Skills & Competencies Strong critical thinking and problem-solving Excellent written and verbal communication Strong initiative, detail-orientation, and ability to manage competing priorities Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders Teamwork, collaboration, and leadership potential Preferred/Bonus Qualifications Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field AHIP Certification and understanding of healthcare legislation Experience with government analytics and reporting Financial literacy, including building and presenting business cases Ideal Candidate Summary Someone who has: Strong health insurance industry experience, especially around provider analytics and compliance Hands-on with reporting and regulatory data (especially CMS) Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities Strong communication and data storytelling skills Is proactive, organized, and able to work both strategically and tactically Keywords: information technology Illinois Strong Healthcare expeience :: Healthcare Project Manager :: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) [email protected] https://rb.gy/r1ud0k https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2495125&uid=212bdf73983b4207a396afb43cfc909f |
