MQ1 Two (2) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience as a data analyst or in other quantitative analysis or engineering disciplines, such as researcher, data engineer or BI analyst. Possess a Bachelor's Degree. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Two (2) years of progressively responsible technical research Full Time Equivalent (FTE) experience engaged in the collection, compilation, analysis, and interpretation of data. Two (2) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience in writing and maintaining simple/complex queries and optimizing SQL statements against relational databases. One (1) year of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience in preparing and executing system/user acceptance test criteria and data validation processes. DQ1 Experience in extracting and analyzing data from health care data systems such as Medicaid or Medicare management information systems. Experience with California county-based behavioral health systems or equivalent sources. Experience working within the healthcare industry. Relevant experience working with the X12 transactions. Experience working in a managed care health plan environment. Knowledge of data extraction and analytical tools such as SAS, Microsoft Power Business Intelligence, and I or ESRI ArcGIS software.
