Position: Amazon connect + DevOps + SRE Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Amazon Connect & DevOps Engineer to support the design, deployment, and continuous optimization of cloud-based contact center solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Amazon Connect implementation and a strong background in DevOps practices to automate, scale, and maintain infrastructure and application delivery pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain Amazon Connect solutions, including contact flows, routing profiles, queues, and IVR integrations. Work closely with architects and business teams to translate customer experience requirements into technical designs. Integrate Amazon Connect with third-party applications such as Salesforce, Lambda, Lex, and external CRMs or databases. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools like Jenkins, GitLab, CodePipeline, etc. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform. Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and other logging tools. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Product, Support) to ensure seamless deployments and operational stability. Required Skills: 35+ years of experience in Amazon Connect development and customization. Proficiency in AWS services such as Lambda, Lex, S3, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, IAM, etc. Strong experience with DevOps tools and practices, including Git, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform, CloudWatch. Scripting experience using Python, Bash, or Power. Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD and automated deployment strategies. Experience integrating Amazon Connect with backend APIs, CRMs, and databases. Strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting production systems. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Nice-to-Have: AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Developer, or AWS Certified Advanced Networking). Experience with other contact center technologies (e.g., Genesys, Twilio). Knowledge of ITIL practices or incident management frameworks.
