The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating complex business requirements into scalable, best-practice Anaplan models. The role requires strong collaboration with stakeholders, deep functional understanding of planning processes, and adherence to Anaplans modeling standards.Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements. Participate in current-state process mapping exercises to align planning solutions with business needs. Design, document, and articulate Anaplan model architecture including: Process maps User guides Solution design documentation Translate Excel-based models or user stories into scalable Anaplan models. Build and configure Anaplan solutions using best practices: Create and manage dimensions, lists (hierarchies), line items, modules, and user-friendly dashboards. Implement hub-and-spoke models and user pages. Work with data experts and business SMEs to source and validate data required for Anaplan models. Ensure ongoing alignment with enterprise architecture by collaborating with Business Architects and technical stakeholders. Develop and execute test cases and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate Anaplan models. Maintain compliance with Anaplan model building best practices and continuously improve solution performance and usability.Essential Skills & Qualifications: Anaplan Certified Model Builder (mandatory). Minimum of 2 years of hands-on Anaplan modeling experience or multiple end-to-end Anaplan implementations. Deep understanding of Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting (PB&F) processes. Knowledge of business functions such as Sales, Operations, and Finance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams. Experience in creating scalable, user-centric solutions in Anaplan.Desirable Skills: Exposure to other EPM platforms such as: SAP BPC, SAP SAC Oracle Hyperion Microsoft Dynamics Project management or Agile certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master). Completion of Anaplan Level 3 (L3) training.
