The ideal candidate will have proven experience in QA testing on customer platforms, particularly those running Windows OS. This role requires a detail oriented individual with expertise in hardware interface validation and a solid understanding of functional testing methodologies and S&S strategies. Responsibilities Conduct functional testing on software applications to ensure quality and performance standards are met. Validate hardware interfaces including USB, HDMI, eDP, DP, and other BSP components. Utilize test and debug tools such as USB analyzers and display signal tools to identify and troubleshoot issues. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional requirements. Collaborate with cross functional teams to isolate platform and BSP issues and provide actionable feedback. Document test results and maintain comprehensive records of testing activities. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies. Mandatory Skills Proven experience in functional testing methodologies. Strong background in hardware interface validation (USB, HDMI, eDP, DP). Experience with S&S strategies for software testing. Proficiency in using test and debug tools (e.g., Unit Testing Tools RTRT/GTest/CanTATA). Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to isolate Board Support Package issues. Preferred Skills Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC). Knowledge of additional operating systems and platforms. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5 7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on functional testing and BSP validation. Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
