Our client is seeking a top-tier Lead Java Engineer to design and deploy cutting-edge microservices and APIs powering Customer Data solutions. You'll join a dynamic team building vital mid-layer services across the organization and with external partners. We need your expertise in Java 8+, cloud technologies, containerization, data streaming, and Agile methodologies. Required Skills - Java 8+, Spring Boot, Containers, Cloud, Automated testing, Agile, lead roles Job Duties - Be an active participant in all Scrum ceremonies and lead in the delivery of the strategic roadmap. Help define project scope & specifications, and estimate resources required to develop the proposed solution. Ensure that specifications and requirements are clearly articulated to the development teams and monitor timelines & progress. Propose technical solutions. Delivery of well-designed, high-quality, fully functional, properly tested features, fixes, and enhancements. Responsible for the full application development lifecycle and support. Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review. Troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance. Provide subject matter expertise and direction, guidance, and support on complex engagements."
