Responsibilities include: Regularly recommend strategies to improve virtualization levels Recommend and Implement strategies to improve server efficiency. Identify migration requirements from old to new equipment, including equipment cascades where applicable Recommend and implement best practices. Advanced Administration of VMware and Hyper-V virtual infrastructure, HA, DRS, Datastore and Networking(vSS/vDS, SRM Maintain and update vCenter/ESXi/Hyper-V Virtual infrastructure Maintain and Troubleshoot vSphere replication appliances Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Operating System Installation and management of windows and Hyper-V Clusters Fine-tune the Windows Operating system for optimal performance Implementation of Windows based DHCP services. Troubleshooting Clusters and related issues in a SAN environment Troubleshooting issues related to Hypervisor Hardware Work with DR and Applications teams to define technical steps for DR Drills. Co-ordinate with Software and hardware OEM/Vendors for upgrades and new implementations. Regular analysis of Monitoring parameters and recommend changes to parameters and thresholds. Experience Minimum 8 years Education & Skills Qualification: Bachelors degree or equivalent VCP (VMWare Certified Professional) certification preferred. Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800, AZ-801) preferred. AWS Professional Certification - Preferred Essential Skills: Expertise in VMware vSphere Implementation and Administration Expertise in Hyper-V Implementation and Administration Expertise in Administering Microsoft Windows operating Systems and Services such as DHCP, File & Print, Expertise in Managing and administering Server Hardware (DELL/HP/IBM/Cisco Chassis) Experience in Scripting batch, Power, etc. Secondary Skills Experience in AWS Cloud Administration Experience in implementation and administration of various AWS Services, mainly o Compute Services o Storage Services o RDS o Elastic Load Balancers o Management Services Work Products Microsoft Windows Operating system (Server), VMware vSphere, MS-Hyper V, Server hardware, AWS Cloud Keywords: hewlett packard http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=255614&uid= |
