Myriad is innovating genetic therapy to cure cancer . 1. Engagement Overview Nick and Joe Perry are leading parallel engineering efforts requiring staff augmentation support. The contractors will contribute to legacy desktop applications supporting both front-end ordering workflows and back-end lab systems tied to new product initiatives. 2. Project Context Team (CRM / Super App) Supports internal CRM tools that manage physician, patient, and order data. Application is built in Java Swing with a thick-client desktop interface. Focus is on updates and enhancements, not greenfield development. Supports new products such as MyRisk (hereditary cancer panel) and MRD (Minimal Residual Disease). Team (Lab Systems) Supports internal lab-facing systems that process and manage genomic data. Uses JavaFX for newer portions of the client-side application. Builds software powering assay workflows tied to the MRD product. Candidates with biotech, genetics, or healthcare background are strongly preferred. 3.
