You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, UX/UI, Backend, and QA to deliver robust, user-friendly, and high-performance mobile solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Android SDK, Kotlin/Java, and a strong understanding of mobile architecture and best practices.Key Responsibilities: Lead the architecture, design, and development of Android applications using Kotlin/Java. Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing. Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and QA to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Maintain and optimize application performance, scalability, and security. Ensure adherence to MVVM, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles. Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party libraries (e.g., Retrofit, Glide, Firebase), and native SDKs. Own the end-to-end delivery cycle from concept to production deployment. Stay up to date with emerging trends in Android, Google Play policies, and mobile security practices. Implement CI/CD pipelines and write unit/instrumentation tests (JUnit, Espresso). Contribute to codebase modernization efforts, including migration to Jetpack Compose or modular architecture.Required Skills: 10+ years of experience in Android application development. Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java. Deep understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack Components, and Material Design. Experience with MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture. Proficient in RESTful API integration, Retrofit, Room, Coroutines, Dagger/Hilt, LiveData, ViewModel. Strong experience with Jetpack Compose (preferred but not mandatory). Knowledge of mobile analytics, crash reporting (Firebase, Crashlytics), and performance tools. Experience publishing apps to Google Play Store. Solid understanding of mobile security and data privacy standards (e.g., OAuth, encryption). Familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).Preferred Qualifications: Experience with modular app architecture and multi-module Gradle setup. Background in eCommerce, logistics, fintech, or high-scale consumer apps. Experience with React Native or Flutter is a plus.
