It is a 1 year contract, fully remote, and can be C2C. Ideally, they want a candidate that has experience in banking/consumer lending compliance experience and a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (Accounting/Finance or Economics). What Will Help You Be Successful: You have experience in the following areas: Regulatory Documentation creation for Consumer Restitution/Remediation Issues Experience running or executing in an Issues Management Program Consumer compliance experience Project Management experience not just managing the task plan, but helping to create the overall plan, and drive a diverse set of stakeholders through the plan through execution. An executive presence to know when and how to escalate risks against the project plan Student Loan product experience Experience communicating to cross functional teams including student lending or consumer loan product teams, Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, Data resources, Finance/Accounting teams, and back end servicing resources (i.e. teams to draft and send communications or apply credits to an account). You enjoy discussing technical and industry trends and seek opportunities to demonstrate and teach seniors and staff on the job. You effectively build and manage client relationships while delivering specific product solutions that add value. You excel at identifying opportunities to integrate product solutions and resources to optimize client service capabilities. You are passionate about assisting in the preparation and execution of strategy to win new business. Primary Responsibilities: Conducting compliance reviews, either under a consulting arrangement or in support of internal audit. Assisting clients with the development of compliance-related policies and procedures. Providing assistance in a consulting capacity to clients in resolving regulatory enforcement actions or remediating known compliance deficiencies. Do Your Talents Include the Following Deep knowledge of bank and/or credit-related regulatory requirements, specifically related to consumer compliance regulations (e.g., Lending and Student Loan regulations and industry best practices for compliance programs in larger banking or consumer lending organizations. Familiarity with third party software available to support compliance programs. Prior project management and supervisory skills. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and train others on regulatory requirements. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills. Ability to multi-task. Must be able to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional manner. Must be able to maintain professional demeanor in times of high stress. Solid knowledge of process reengineering and methodologies, including flowcharting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications. Your Educational and Professional Qualifications: Bachelors degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Accounting/Finance or Economics) required. 5+ years in related field, preferably in banking or consumer lending compliance. Experience as an examiner with a bank regulatory agency (ideally the Federal Reserve or Office of the Comptroller of the Currency preferred.) Big 4 or prior consulting experience preferred.
