Design and implement data models, pipelines, and workflows using Snowflake and Azure-based services. Create and maintain reporting and visualization assets using Power BI or custom front-end solutions. Monitor and resolve production support issues and ensure data reliability and quality. Collaborate effectively with team members, business partners, and external vendors. Follow and help enforce change management policies and procedures. Participate in code reviews, testing processes, and production release cycles. Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, or features to improve architecture and performance. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related fieldor equivalent education, training, and work-related experience. 5-7+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or technical leadership roles. Strong expertise in SQL, Python, Linux scripting, GitHub, and CI/CD automation (e.g., GitHub Actions). Proven experience working with data warehouse design, implementation, and performance optimization. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working with business partners across functions to understand needs and deliver data solutions aligned with firm strategy. Ability to travel occasionally for work-related needs. Preferred Qualifications: 57+ years of experience working on data projects within investment management or financial services. Understanding of fixed income and equity investing, including exposure to portfolio management, trading, performance, or risk data. Hands-on experience with Azure services (e.g., Key Vault, Container Services, Data Factory, Synapse). Exposure to machine learning features in Snowflake and programming in R. Linux administration experience and familiarity with system monitoring and scripting. Experience with legacy data tools such as SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS.
