In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and scripts to ensure the highest quality of our software products. You will work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient testing solutions in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts primarily using Java. Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and performance test cases. Collaborate with development teams to identify test requirements and improve testability of applications. Analyze test results, log defects, and work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality assurance best practices. Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests for faster releases. Mentor junior testers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and process improvements. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of professional experience as an SDET, QA engineer, or software developer with a focus on automation. Strong proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented design principles. Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or similar. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, Agile practices, and SDLC. Experience with build tools (Maven/Gradle), version control (Git), and CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.). Familiarity with API testing and tools like REST Assured or Postman is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable. Experience in retail or e-commerce domain is advantageous.
