The candidate will be in an expert role and will work closely with Business, DBA, ETL and Data Management teams providing solutions for complex Data related initiatives. This individual will also be responsible for developing and managing Data Governance and Master Data Management solutions. This candidate must have good technical and communication skills coupled with the ability to mentor effectively. Key Skills & Requirements: Recent Oracle experience (preferably Oracle Exadata) is a must; candidates should have used Oracle within the last 2 years. Strong data modeling and design experience (OLTP & OLAP). Ability to communicate clearly about their own contributions, not just team efforts. Hands-on experience with SQL Server is also valued. Should be able to work directly with functional users to gather requirements and explain architectural decisions.Not a Fit: Candidates focused heavily on cloud technologies (AWS, P, etc.). Profiles that are more data engineer or enterprise architect oriented. Candidates who only talk theory and can't explain how they applied it in projects. DBAs who are strictly physical (indexing, storage, etc.) with no architectural mindset. Interview Focus: Candidates must explain recent, real-world solutions they ve implemented. Must be able to articulate why they made certain architecture decisions and what the impact was. Other Details: In-person interviews required (DFW-based preferred; relocation okay at candidate s expense). ETL tools used: Informatica, Ab Initio, Tibco ESB, Goldengate. Team is 95% on-premise, with no current cloud migration plans. Role supports multiple simultaneous projects both small and enterprise requiring modeling, design review, and user interaction. Data Governance and MDM are early-stage; experience here is a plus, not required.
