Summary: We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with a deep understanding of modern Java (17 or 21), the Spring Boot 3 ecosystem, and Microsoft Azure. Youll be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native microservices and enterprise applications. Youll collaborate closely with architects, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver robust solutions. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based microservices using Java 17 or 21 and Spring Boot 3. Build secure, scalable, and resilient APIs and RESTful web services. Implement modern features like Virtual Threads (Project Loom), Record Classes, Pattern Matching, and Sealed Classes if relevant. Work with Spring Cloud, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and other Spring modules. Design and implement cloud-native architectures leveraging Microsoft Azure services (e.g., App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Key Vault). Develop CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps for automated build, test, and deployment. Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and coverage. Participate in code reviews and enforce clean coding practices and design patterns. Monitor and optimize application performance and cost on Azure. Maintain and improve observability using tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and distributed tracing. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently. Contribute to architecture and design discussions, offering modern Java and cloud best practices. Stay current with Java releases, Spring ecosystem updates, and Azure advancements to continuously improve our tech stack.
