Please share the profiles to [email protected] Job Role : Java Developer - IBM Sterling WMS 8.5 Location : Remote Long Term Contract LinkedIn Mandatory Job Description: We are looking for a talented Java Developer with hands-on experience in IBM Sterling Warehouse Management System (WMS) 8.5 . The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and supporting Sterling WMS solutions and integrating them with upstream and downstream systems. This role requires strong Java development expertise along with in-depth understanding of warehouse operations and WMS workflows. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and enhance custom solutions within Sterling WMS 8.5 using Java/J2EE technologies. Customize and configure Sterling WMS components, including workflows, RF screens, user exits, and events. Integrate Sterling WMS with ERP systems, transportation systems, and other supply chain applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments. Work with business analysts to translate warehouse process requirements into technical designs. Participate in code reviews, deployment activities, and performance tuning. Ensure code quality, documentation, and adherence to industry best practices.Required Skills: Strong programming experience in Java/J2EE, Spring, and related frameworks. 3+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling WMS 8.5 (or earlier versions). Solid understanding of warehouse operations receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management. Experience working with Sterling WMS APIs, RF device integration, and custom workflows. Knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON, and message-based integration (e.g., MQ, JMS). Experience with relational databases ( Oracle, DB2, or similar). Familiarity with application servers like WebSphere or WebLogic.
