Required Qualifications : 8+ years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure, or architecture roles with deep understanding of the Java platform. Proven experience in deploying, packaging, or managing JDK/JREs at scale in enterprise environments. Strong scripting or automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Power) for discovery and system integration. Solid understanding of Java licensing, especially Oracles commercial licensing changes. Familiarity with endpoint or fleet management tools (e.g., SCCM, JAMF, Puppet, Intune). Ability to analyze complex system landscapes and design practical, scalable solutions. Strong communication skills for cross-org influence, including collaboration with legal, finance, and engineering stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications : Experience with Amazon Corretto. Prior involvement in compliance, software asset management, or platform rationalization initiatives. Familiarity with building or contributing to internal discovery tooling or inventory systems. AWS experience, especially in EC2 image management, Systems Manager, or automation frameworks.
