Implementing upgrades to hardware and software in the enterprise as needed Performing maintenance and repairs to network equipment as required Keeping documentation of networks, including drawings, descriptions, and configurations May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals May serve as task lead Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in network architecture Maintain technical and standard operational procedures. Maintain close collaborative relationship with monitoring team to ensure proper monitoring is in place to promote proactive operation management Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Skills and Experience: 6+ years of experience with network switching and routing; voice, and cloud technologies a plus 4+ years of experience with Dell networking platform, Juniper routers and switches, Cisco routers, and SDWAN products and services - Any hands-on experience with Extreme networking devices is a plus. Knowledge of SD-WAN technology desirable. Any knowledge of Versa SD-WAN technology would be a plus Expert levels skills with routing protocols specifically (BGP and OSPF) Experience managing on premise, co-location, and hybrid data center network infrastructure. Any Cloud experience is a plus Solid understanding of designing and administering IP networks (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPNs, load balancers, VLANs, QoS, Ethernet, 802.1q/p, Spanning Tree, RADIUS, TACACS, etc.) Experience with the design, deployment, and management of VxLAN In-depth knowledge of network management tools, including SNMP, Syslog, NTP, etc. Experience/knowledge of deploying Anycast routing desirable Packet capture and protocol analysis (TCP, UDP, ICMP, packet dissection).
