Job Description: Primary Responsibilities Serve as a technical expert in Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and advanced SQL development. Design and implement scalable data pipelines and transformations using Snowflake best practices. Collaborate with Business System Analysts to ensure data solutions meet functional and analytical requirements. Optimize Snowflake environments for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability. Integrate Snowflake with other systems and tools, including Python-based applications and AWS services. Support data ingestion, transformation, and delivery processes across multiple environments. Apply software development methodologies and CI/CD practices to data engineering workflows. Contribute to the development and testing of Python applications that interact with Snowflake. Ensure alignment with risk and control processes to monitor and mitigate data-related risks. Talents Needed for Success Expertise in Snowflake, including SnowSQL, performance tuning, and data sharing. Strong SQL skills with experience in data warehousing and analytics. Proficiency in Python, especially for scripting, automation, and data processing. Familiarity with AWS Cloud technologies and how they integrate with Snowflake. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and version control (e.g., Git). Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments. Experience working in Agile development teams. Exposure to financial services or risk management applications is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
