Complete moderate to complexbug fixes. Work closely with otherdevelopment team members, Quality Analysts and Business to understand productrequirements and translate them into software designs. Operate in various developmentenvironments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with keystakeholders. Resolve technical issues asnecessary. Keep abreast of new technologydevelopments. Make major code design andchanges to new & existing products and be a primary point of contact forproducts they develop or own. Day-to-Day: This position performs moderateto complex research, design, and software development assignments within aspecific software functional area or product line. This role will include extracting, loading,cleansing, translating, manipulating, analyzing, linking, migrating, andindexing massive amounts of data utilizing cutting edge technology andtechniques. This position will have the opportunity to work alongside talentedcolleagues with a variety of skills and business/industry content knowledge andwill collaborate closely with internal business stakeholders and technicalteams to deliver a product experience that aims to exceed customerexpectations. Must Haves: 5 years of SoftwareEngineering experience 3 years of strong experiencewith Unix bash/ scripting after data dev, data ops work Proficiency with datamanipulation languages/ETL tools SSIS, Informatica, Data Stage, Microsoft BI,etc. Ability to work with simpledata models. Proficiency in developmentlanguages including but not limited to: Python, Java, C/C , SQL, Windows, UNIX,and JSON. Mainly Exposure to C/C Experience working in softwaredevelopment methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) Knowledge of test-drivendevelopment. Plusses: Azure experience Hands-on coding with Python write Python automation code to pass data from XML, JSON, or flat file to JSON.
