JOB DESCRIPTION: Your responsibilities as an Azure Cloud Security Engineer include: Work with the Security Architecture, Cloud Platform, Directors of Business Information Security, and Business Unit IT teams to resolve outstanding Azure policy violations to get all deployments into compliance. Work with the Cloud Platform team to update and create any new policies needed to increase the security of the Azure Platform. Write Audit and Power automations to gather, report, and monitor compliance for the various teams leveraging the existing Azure Policy tooling. Have well written and spoken communication capabilities to ensure that the status is communicated to the platform and architecture teams, while ensuring that the BU-IT teams understand why the policies are what they are and what advantages they get by complying. Determining when to move from audit only to deny ensuring a non-disruptive transition. Document any Technical Standards or Paved Road documents needed to help BU-IT teams to deploy in compliance with the Azure policies in the future. Requirements The candidate must: Have 3 or more years of experience in Azure Cloud. Have 3 or more years in Security. Be a certified Azure Security Engineer Associate (Minimum), preferred Expert. Proficient at Azure Policy (How to create, apply, and the lifecycle of Azure Policy) Proficient at interacting with Azure using Power Proficient at dealing with ARM and Bicep templates and how to modify them to comply with Azure Policies.
