Whats the job Youll be a senior leader making sure the quality of Baxters medical devicesboth hardware (physical parts) and softwareis top-notch. Youll work closely with engineers designing new products, helping them follow all the rules and best practices so the devices are safe, effective, and meet regulatory standards. Key things youll do: Lead quality activities around designing and testing new medical devices and software. Work with teams to identify and manage risks to ensure the products are safe. Review and approve key project documents and plans to ensure quality is built in from the start. Help solve any quality problems that come up during product development or after launch (like bugs or security issues). Help make sure the product smoothly moves from design to production and then to market. Keep Baxters quality system updated with new regulations and industry standards. Communicate clearly with team members and management to keep quality goals on track. Who are they looking for Someone with 8+ years' experience in medical device quality engineering, who knows both hardware and software development. Familiarity with FDA regulations and international quality standards. Skilled in analyzing data and using statistical tools to validate testing and quality improvements. Comfortable juggling multiple projects and working in a fast-changing environment. Good problem solver and strong communicator. someone with certifications like ASQ CQE or Six Sigma. Bonus if you have experience with AI software or cloud infrastructure related to medical devices..
