This role merges two strategic missions: Identity Data Fabric: Integrate all identity sources into a virtualized, attribute-rich identity fabric that powers Zero-Trust access, analytics, and enterprise digital transformation. Non-Human / Machine Identity Security: Manage the lifecycle of service accounts, API keys, tokens, certificates, and workload identities ensuring discovery, classification, vaulting, rotation, and continuous monitoring. You will own end-to-end strategy, reference architectures, data models, standards, and roadmaps, turning identity into a real-time, policy-enforced, reusable enterprise service. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategy & Governance (40%) Develop the 3-year enterprise Identity & Non-Human Identity strategy, OKRs, and investment roadmap. Establish identity standards, policies, and best practices across human and non-human identity domains. Map identity controls to NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOX, PCI DSS, and other regulatory frameworks. Chair the Identity Architecture Council to drive adoption of reference architectures and compliance standards. Advise leadership on identity risk posture, emerging threats, and modernization initiatives. 2. Architecture & Design (40%) Design logical and physical layers of the Identity Data Fabric: ingestion pipelines, virtualization, MDM/graph layers, APIs, and event buses. Create reference architectures for human and non-human identity lifecycle management, including just-in-time provisioning, self-claiming, vaulting, rotation, and decommissioning. Integrate attribute-based access control (ABAC) and policy-as-code into CI/CD pipelines, service meshes, and cloud-native workloads. Define secure integration patterns for SaaS, cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, IoT/OT devices, and legacy systems. Evaluate and recommend identity automation and orchestration platforms, secrets management tools, and emerging identity technologies. 3. Data Analytics & Insights (20%) Develop dashboards and machine learning models to detect orphaned accounts, toxic combinations, privilege creep, and anomalous NHI behavior. Establish KPIs and scorecards for leadership, executive committees, and the board. Provide actionable intelligence to security operations, risk management, and business units to improve identity hygiene and risk reduction. Required Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. 10+ years of experience in identity architecture, IAM, or cybersecurity, including human and non-human identity domains. Deep expertise in IAM technologies: IGA, PAM, SSO, MFA, ABAC, Privileged Access, API security, and secrets management. Strong experience with identity data integration, MDM, graph databases, and virtualization layers. Proven track record designing Zero Trust architectures and enterprise-wide identity governance. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards: NIST, ISO 27001, SOX, PCI DSS, GDPR, HIPAA. Hands-on experience with cloud IAM platforms (Azure AD, AWS IAM, P IAM), APIs, and DevSecOps integration. Ability to influence cross-functional teams, create technical roadmaps, and communicate complex concepts to executives. Preferred Skills Experience with non-human identity management at scale, including API keys, certificates, workload identities, and IoT/OT devices. Knowledge of identity analytics, ML-driven identity risk detection, and behavioral analytics. Experience with policy-as-code, ABAC enforcement in microservices, and CI/CD pipeline integration. Thought leadership in identity standards, identity fabrics, or digital identity initiatives.
