Quality Test Engineer (QTE) Location: Boston, MA Must be onsite 3 days a week downtown boston. Need strong - CRD experience - Charles river IMS - Must have Charles river experience though and only financial services experience*** Quality Test Engineer (QTE) Contractor to work as part of the Test Team which sits within the Quality Chapter. This role will be heavily involved in the Dynamic Test Process here at . You will primarily be responsible for contributing to, adhering to, and executing upon Quality Chapter Test Process. As a Quality Test Engineer Contractor, you will work as an individual contributor within a small autonomous team called a squad that focuses on a specific product within Technology business unit. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit team that is growing and maturing. You get to work alongside knowledgeable individuals who are passionate about testing and putting out quality products and features. The company is undergoing a technology modernization effort. We need your help to support that effort by using your critical thinking and testing skills. The test level this squad is mostly focused on is integration testing and system testing with a keen focus on data quality. This role is based out of our office in Boston, Massachusetts and is required to follow the firms current hybrid work schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in-office, with the ion to work Monday and Friday remote from home. Responsibilities: Abides by various test processes Participates in and contributes to the test incident and defect management process Serve as a member of the Quality Chapter by spearheading, supporting, influencing, and sharing best practices that contribute to the quality of the product while working on a squad Work with stakeholders on prioritized project development efforts Conduct exploratory testing as needed and/or required Participate in creating, reviewing, and refining work products (requirements specifications, design documentation, user stories and models) to ensure testability and traceability of work products that align to standards Establish working technical knowledge of all applications within the squad Establish a high level of business domain knowledge based on squad business partners Skills You Bring: Must be proficient with Charles River Developments IMS with specific areas of focus including: System configuration, Trading blotter, Compliance, Post-Trade, Manager Workbench and familiarity with database schema 3 5 years relevant work experience within a financial services organization Practical experience working with the full SDLC following a maturing agile framework Experience testing cloud solutions using AWS Must have experience utilizing various test design techniques that contribute to data quality Technical Skills: SQL Analytical Skills: Critical thinking, data and information analysis, research and problem solving Communication Skills: Active listening, information sharing, respect, responsive Keywords: Massachusetts Quality Test Engineer QTE :: Boston, MA [email protected] http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2690108&uid=ba633487dbcb4893906554459bf13656 |
