Must also be able to produce code in Java and have APItesting experience (Postman) As part ofa larger team, the Automation Engineer will have responsibility for end-to-endtesting of software applications across the companys platform, and will be ensuringhigh quality software is installed into the production environment. This rolerequires excellent communication and organizational skills and candidates willneed to demonstrate their ability to manage numerous project deliverablessimultaneously within an extremely active portfolio of projects. The roleinvolves: reviewing and understanding the entire scope of defined projectdeliverables in conjunction with business and technology partners; definingappropriate test plans; devising test strategies; development of individualtest cases and coordination with the centralized test automation team to ensureall functionality is adequately tested. TheAutomation engineer plays a crucial role within the QA organization and thecandidate will be expected to be a self-starter and have a thirst for learningand will need to continuously focus on developing deep product knowledge andunderstanding of a wide array of applications which support the platform. Theperson filling this role will need to be a strong advocate for quality and makerecommendations for improvements that build integrity into the softwaredevelopment process. This role will have specific responsibilities for:developing and maintaining test cases; leads test planning and test case reviewprocesses (and manages sign-off); supports test automation with clarificationon test cases; supports manual test execution; manages defect triage; maintainsregression test suites; defines Production Validation. Thisrole is for a QA Automation Engineer and candidate must have strong automationtool experience and the ability to develop for test.
