Position : Android Architect Location :REMOTE Job Description: Drive a coherent and unified application design with a strong sense of ownership of the applications performance Implement the best strategy to ensure design meets performance, usability, reliability, and scalability standards Ensure our data collection is consistent and reliable with minimal disruptions by applying best-practice QA standards Participate in regular design and code reviews with development team members to confirm the use of best practices Coach and develop team members to increase the teams bench strength and flexibility Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed development tasks Write meaningful unit tests as part of the CI/CD pipeline Act as a technical reference and subject matter expert in all areas of the application development lifecycle Key skills, experience, and traits required: 7+ years of experience with mobile application development and/or diagnostics applications Expertise in Android architecture components and framework (e.g., Kotlin) Deep understanding of design patterns, especially on dependency injection using Hilt Strong knowledge of Android or Linux performance tools and security models Strong knowledge of Android SDK, NDK, JNI and IPC mechanisms Experience with embedded programming on Linux and/or RTOS Experience working with device OEMs (e.g., Samsung, Motorola, etc) is desirable Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment quality analyst |
