Position: SAP SCM Consultant with Server Setup Experience (Hybrid) Location: Atlanta, GA (Locals Only) Contract: 6+Months Contract Job Description: Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled SAP SCM Consultant with server setup and infrastructure expertise to support both the functional supply chain management processes and the technical environment setup of SAP systems. This role requires a unique blend of SCM domain knowledge, SAP configuration expertise, and hands-on technical experience with system landscapes, installations, and server management. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring smooth deployment, optimization, and support of SAP SCM solutions while aligning business objectives and IT infrastructure standards. Key Responsibilities Work with business stakeholders to analyze and optimize supply chain processes using SAP SCM modules (MM, PP, SD, WM/EWM, APO/IBP, Ariba). Lead or support SAP SCM configuration, testing, and implementation to meet functional requirements. Perform server setup, SAP environment installation, and system landscape management (development, QA, production). Collaborate with Basis/Infrastructure teams to handle: SAP system installations, upgrades, patches, and transport management. Server configurations and performance tuning for SAP SCM applications. Connectivity and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems. Support SAP SCM on S/4HANA migrations, including technical landscape readiness and functional alignment. Troubleshoot system issues involve both functional configuration and technical infrastructure. Document system setup, configuration, and process flows for ongoing support and audit requirements. Provide end-user training, technical guidance, and best practices for SAP SCM and server operations. Qualifications Bachelors degree in supply chain, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of SAP SCM consulting experience (functional or techno-functional). Hands-on experience with SAP SCM modules (MM, PP, SD, WM/EWM, APO, IBP, Ariba). Strong knowledge of server setup and SAP system installations (Windows/Linux, cloud or on-prem). Experience with SAP Basis or close collaboration with Basis teams (system landscape design, transport management, performance monitoring). Familiarity with database administration (HANA, Oracle, or SQL) as it relates to SAP environments. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain implementations highly preferred. SAP certifications (SCM, S/4HANA, or Basis) are a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and IT infrastructure requirements.
