THIS ROLE IS HYBRID ONSITE IN ORANGE, CA. (ONSITE EVERY WEDNESDAY, THEN EVERY OTHER MONTH YOU'D HAVE 2 MORE ONSITE DAYS IN 1 WEEK.Visa : Skype+F2F Interview 4-5 pages resume , ( half page summary , 1 page project description per project, education details on resume.) Make sure they have not applied, been submitted, or interviewed with: Word & Brown, CalChoice, California Choice, ChoiceBuilder, or ChoiceAdministrators - verify ALL company names bc they are all the same company, but folks sometimes are with certain subsidiaries. From the hiring manager: They should exhibit systems thinking as they work through requirements, typically with the business. As we are using a vendor SaaS solution, the BA should have cognizance of whether the way the SaaS app works will satisfy business requirements. So, a bit of liaising between business and vendor at times. An experience BA has had exposure to technical sides of things though, though it may be a bit less of a consideration here. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Relevant professional Business Analysis Certification(s) preferred Familiarity with the operational culture of highly regulated industries Health Insurance industry experience is preferred At least 5-8 years in a recent senior level Business Analyst role that includes LEADING reqs gathering sessions. Documentation skills that include use cases, user stories, process flows, etc. Project experience should include software development, SaaS product implementations, and/or integrations related software projects.Problem Solving: apply structured approaches to understanding problems to develop effective solutions, and ensure successful implementation Creative Thinking: productively generate, consider, and apply new ideas to existing problems Decision Making: demonstrate an effective understanding of the criteria involved in sound decision making Learning: quickly assimilate new and different types of information; adapt existing knowledge to current and future circumstances Conceptual Thinking: grasp abstract ideas, identify patterns, and synthesize information Visual Thinking: communicate complex concepts into understandable visual representations All communication must always use proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling Modulate communication content for various informational needs and audiences Able to listen attentively with the goal of understanding Facilitation of group discussions on complex topics Exercising of leadership and influence without necessarily having authority Work productively with team members and stakeholders Negotiation and resolution of conflicts among team members and stakeholders Teaching and communication of business analysis concepts and ideas Competence in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Teams Experience using software to support and manage the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.) Experience with Requirement Management Software preferred (e.g. JAMA, Rally, etc.) Works with a high degree of ownership over one's responsibilities, deliverables, and respective results Executes responsibilities with a high level of courtesy, tact, openness, and integrity Continually develops trust among colleagues and stakeholders Physical Requirements Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and occasionally stand and walk. Must have adequate hearing for phone work. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Must be able to use a keyboard and other office equipment. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
