Job Title: Business Analyst (Capital Markets Domain) Location: Jersey City, NJ(Onsite) Duration: Contract-to-hire Client : HCL Need Locals to NY, NJ BA Skills : This is a business analyst role. Function as a business analyst to articulate business needs and create the requirements for the project. Prior experience as a BA working in agile teams and knowledge of the financial industry is needed. Good at preparing business requirement documents & functional specification documents Demonstrates understanding of business needs & complex business requirements Experience in mapping business processes , data mapping Strong experience in business and functional analysis Work with Technology team, Operations Teams, Architecture group and other work streams within the program to obtain sign off Conduct walkthroughs to validate the Data requirement document, Functional Specification document and other supporting artifacts with all the stakeholders Work experience with various stake holders. Domain Skills Demonstrate strong understanding of Capital Market services in general and one of its sub areas viz. Wealth Management, Asset Management ,especially Front Office & Client Facing Applications & Processes and should have worked in Agile Projects, preferably Agile certified Strong understanding of various asset classes, Securities Market & its Participants Basic Understanding of financial regulations across geos Good understanding of securities /trade life cycle Other skills Good at SQL ( should be able analyze and write simple queries) Very good analytical ability Skill in test cases, test-data, and review of interface testing, between different applications, when required.
