This is a short-term (1 month) remote consulting engagement where you will be expected to provide hands-on technical leadership, architecture design, and solution implementation guidance. The ideal candidate will be someone who has extensive experience working in low-level systems, performance optimization, and complex solution design. Key Responsibilities Lead solution architecture design and provide technical direction across the engagement. Develop and validate architecture frameworks, high-level design documents, and system integration plans. Leverage deep knowledge of C programming to review, optimize, and guide development efforts. Work extensively with Linux operating systems for performance tuning, troubleshooting, and environment setup. Create and automate tasks using scripting languages (, Python, Perl, or similar). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements. Provide hands-on expertise in debugging, issue resolution, and architectural best practices. Mentor and guide developers/engineers in implementing architecture recommendations. Act as the technical point of contact for stakeholders during the engagement. Required Skills & Qualifications 1015 years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on solution architecture and system design. Proven expertise in C programming (system-level, high-performance applications, memory management, multithreading). Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Linux operating systems (administration, kernel-level concepts, networking, performance tuning). Strong proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Perl, or similar). Demonstrated experience designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure solutions. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in distributed environments. Excellent communication skills to interact with technical teams and business stakeholders. Ability to work independently and deliver results within tight timelines. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Experience in embedded systems or low-level system programming. Knowledge of networking protocols and system security concepts. Prior consulting or short-term engagement experience. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or P) is an added advantage.
