Role: Lead Data Engineer Remote Long Term Contract Required Skills - Python,PySpark Nice to have skills - Java,Scala,Hadoop Administration Experience of working with Retail industry Job summary: Good Knowledge in Python, PySpark with work experience on preferably GCP platform is nice to have. Prior experience with data modernization / re-platforming onprem to cloud is preferred Experience with enterprise collaboration tools preferred (JIRA, Git, SVN) Experience to implement the Security standard including data encryption/decryption at rest and in transition. Providing subject matter expertise and assessments to business stakeholders and working with business Roles & Responsibilities: Prior experience with data modernization / re-platforming onprem to cloud is preferred Experience with enterprise collaboration tools preferred (JIRA, Git, SVN) Experience to implement the Security standard including data encryption/decryption at rest and in transition. Providing subject matter expertise and assessments to business stakeholders and working with business units across the organization to understand business strategies, direction, and identify needs Develop working technology solutions for reference and starting points for development teams Participating in enterprise vendor, technology, and tool selection Capturing, maintaining, and publishing business, information, and technical architecture artifacts Development of target architectures and transition plans Facilitating complex design and technical discussions, reconciling differing opinions and driving the decision-making process. Collaborating with other architects, IT leadership, and delivery teams to ensure alignment with target and reference architectures, provide guidance, solicit feedback, and identify enterprise IT needs Act as a technology guardian to promote sustainable solutions and tactfully discourage poor choices.
