Must have a FLORIDA ADDRESS NOTE: THE CLIENT IS NOT LOOKING FOR AN SOC ANALYST/SUPPORT - THEY NEED SENIOR EXPERIENCE IN PROGRAMMING AND APPLICATION SUPPORT WITH CYBERSECURITY EXP. ---------------------------JOB DESCRIPTION--------------------------- Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of new employee information applications. Maintain and enhance existing applications, ensuring they are efficient and effective. Act as the primary point of contact for users, gathering and documenting their needs to define valid requirements for new development and enhancements. Coordinate activities between user departments and application programmers. Provide training and mentorship to junior analysts to help them grow their skills. Collaborate with end-users and management to understand business processes and translate them into technical requirements. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in PC or mainframe application development. 2+ years of experience in a cybersecurity role. Experience supporting cybersecurity tools like CrowdStrike, TrendMicro, or Cylance. Proven experience with both Linux and Windows administration. Knowledge of scripting, including and Bash. Experience with firewall administration. Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions such as Splunk or QRadar. 2+ years of experience supporting AWS environments.
