You will be part of the Waterloo software delivery team that develops tractor sub-system control software. Key Responsibilities Develop tractor sub-system software verification test plans for features and defect fixes (per two-month planning cycle). Define regression testing levels for each testing round. Drive automation of test cases for the control subsystem. Execute and verify software testing activities. Track and report software test metrics (coverage, data, results, defects found, defects escaped). Ensure availability of test environments (MiL, SiL, HiL, ViL) and determine test environment strategy. Required Skills 1+ years of experience in mechatronics with knowledge of electrical, electronics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems. 1+ years of control systems experience, preferably in propulsion systems and/or agricultural equipment. 1+ years of embedded control systems experience in product development or product testing. 1+ years of experience with electronic test tools and simulation tools for analysis and verification. Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Experience in Model-Based Software Design (MBSD) and/or system simulation (Matlab/Simulink). Hands-on with test case automation tools (e.g., ECU-Test). Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment. 1+ years of experience with CAN bus and related test/analysis tools. Prior experience operating agricultural or off-road equipment. ISTQB Certification (or equivalent).
