Job Requirements The Data Modeler will join a new scrum team in order to deliver critical features. In-scope includes analyzing current data sources and flows; create data models in Hadoop (HDFS, HIVE, Impala) as well as in Oracle & SQL Server to support the use-cases being explored; and work with the development teams to ensure that ETL logic being created results in the correct data sets being populated in the model. Hands-on experience with physical and relational data modeling. Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools. Knowledge of mathematical foundations and statistical analysis. Data modeling for relational and non-relational databases Hadoop, HIVE, Impala, and Spark experience. Data analysis, mapping, lineage, and documentation Metadata management, documentation Data Engineering Must have Data lake / Lakehouse / SQL Server experience Excellent communication and presentation skills. Advanced troubleshooting skills. Some working experience in cloud environment Data Wranglers: 2 Position Onsite ( Las Vegas ): Person with experience in merging several data sources into one data set, enriching and validating.
