Job Title: OMS QA - Functional SME Location: Bolingbrook, IL (onsite from day one, need local candidates) Duration: 12+ Month Implementation Partner - HCL America Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for OMS functionality. Validate end-to-end order flow processes (Order Creation, Sourcing, Fulfillment, Returns, Cancellations, etc.). Perform integration testing with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., eCommerce, ERP, WMS, POS). Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues. Validate data across OMS and backend systems. Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives). Maintain traceability of test cases to business requirements. Create and maintain test documentation, test scripts, and test data. ________________________________________ Must-Have Skills: Hands-on experience testing an Order Management System (OMS). Strong understanding of order lifecycle processes (capture, split, allocation, sourcing, shipping, cancellation, returns). Solid knowledge of SQL for backend data validation. Experience in functional, integration, and regression testing. Familiarity with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps). Must have: Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SOAP UI). Must have: Exposure to retail/eCommerce business processes. ________________________________________ Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with Manhattan OMS, IBM Sterling OMS, Mule or similar platforms.
