Hybrid Miramar or Dallas Schedule: 8AM - 6PM

Miramar required to be onsite 3 days a week

Core Must-Have Skills

Hands-on SAP FICO Development (ABAP developer for Finance modules).

SAP Core Dev Tools:

IDocs

EDI

Interfaces

Workflows

BAPIs / BADIs

Independent Contributor: Must be able to take functional specs and build solutions with minimal guidance.

S/4HANA exposure (strong preference, as the environment is S/4).

Nice-to-Have Skills: The ones who get priority with manager.

SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration / BTP middleware) experience.

Fiori/UI5 exposure (building or enabling apps).

Full life cycle SAP implementation experience is often present in qualified candidates, but not mandatory.

Prefer FIORI development. Contingent

What This Role Is / Is Not

Independent, senior technical developer.

Expected to self-start using specs and bring prior knowledge/solutions.

May later be tapped for code reviews if strong.

The role IS NOT:

Not expected to train, mentor, or communicate with stakeholders.

Not a functional consultant role.

Not a leadership role this is purely technical.

Experience Requirements

9+ years minimum hands-on SAP development experience.

Candidates with 15 20+ years OK if still hands-on (not just managers).

Industry background irrelevant purely technical focus.

Must-Have Skills

Skill Set required: Must have S/4 Implementation with development skills in Logistics. Prefer FIORI development.Contingent

9+ years in software/application development or comparable experience.

Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage complex technology projects across the full SDLC.

Change agent with managerial courage and the ability to deliver results.

Executive presence with excellent oral/written communication skills.

Experience with offshore teams and 3rd-party vendors.

Experience with APIs, ESB, SAP PI, and system integrations.

Deep understanding of supporting business functions.

Experience mentoring developers and improving code quality/standards.

Strong collaboration and facilitation skills, including executive presentations.

Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and functional teams.

Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering.

Overview:

The Developer is responsible for developing and enhancing in-house software applications or extensions by coding in technical languages to meet business requirements and objectives. Responsibilities include interpreting technical specifications, building applications,
integrating data, testing, and preparing technical documentation. The Developer will follow best practices, adhere to SGWS development standards, and focus on quality and innovation. Additionally, this role may involve supporting end users, including troubleshooting
and maintaining existing code.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a team leader on large-scale application development projects/programs.
Holistically design solutions in a complex environment, ensuring long-term sustainability.
Research, troubleshoot, maintain, and configure software; create test scripts; and test applications/interfaces.
Lead the technical portion of projects: scheduling, facilitating meetings, and coordinating with business stakeholders.
Mentor and coach developers, providing technical guidance and training.
Research, evaluate, and recommend software and hardware solutions.
Design and implement architecturally compliant system landscapes.
Recommend process, procedure, and policy enhancements to improve performance.
Prioritize work effectively and pivot based on changing requirements.
Identify and mitigate risks with proactive stakeholder communication.
Drive improvements in processes, functionality, and efficiency.
Lead the development and expansion of coding standards initiatives.
Maintain expert knowledge of software development best practices and serve as a thought leader.
Participate in Agile teams, driving Behavior-Driven Design (BDD) practices.
Provide coaching and career development for junior developers.
Identify and implement process improvements for application development programs.
Oversee and collaborate with 3rd-party development teams.
Create and maintain technical and business process documentation.
Act as a liaison between business functions and IT for projects and enhancements.
Collect and analyze requirements, test hypotheses, and validate solutions.
Track project progress, resolve problems, publish reports, and recommend actions.
Drive automation opportunities and business process redesign for improved outcomes.
Facilitate sessions, presentations, and executive-level communications.

Lead solution design and serve as a Solution Lead/Technical Project Manager as needed.
Participate in seminars, trade shows, and demonstrations to stay current with technology trends.
