This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in either Data Management or Engineering, and who thrive in cross-functional environments. Experience in the Energy sector is a significant plus. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures. Collaborate with data and engineering teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance. Establish data ownership and stewardship models across business units. Define and maintain metadata standards and data lineage documentation. Support data classification, access controls, and privacy initiatives. Conduct gap analyses and recommend improvements to existing data governance practices. Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on data governance principles. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or engineering roles. Proven track record of implementing enterprise-level data governance frameworks. Strong understanding of data architecture, metadata management, and data lifecycle. Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and compliance standards. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred: Experience in the Energy industry, with knowledge of sector-specific data challenges.
