Title: AS400/iSeries Developer Location: Fort Mill, SC (Work from Office from Day 1) Duration: Long Term Contract to Hire Roles & Responsibilities: 10+ years of full software development lifecycle experience including the ability to perform independent analysis 10+ years of experience developing iSeries applications using RPG, RPGLE, RPG Free, CL, CLLE and SQL Experience in API is must. Experience with technologies, tools, utilities, and packages including Query/400, SDA, PDM, RLU, DBU, DFU, Aplus and Implementer Working knowledge of DB2 database design Strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to analyze complex technical problems Excellent team player who can drive a collaborative environment Strong time management Ability to balance multiple priorities at a given time Excellent verbal and written communications, ability to establish effective working relationships with team members and cross functional teams Self-driven, able to work independently or within a team setting Results oriented and adaptable Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology Perform software engineering to create and modify highly complex programs, modules, routines, scripts and data objects from a detailed design where performance, efficiency, and reliability are critical to the entire system Work closely with business partners on identifying needs and converting those needs to working software Partner with IT teams across multiple platforms to determine optimal solutions to production problems Define test data requirements based on analysis of business requirements, technical specifications and test case design Follow up with customers and/or business partners to ensure problems are solved and customer satisfaction is met Experience with Integration Project Working knowledge of API Integration, MQ series and EDI Demonstrated experience with Agile Project Management tools, specifically Jira Familiarity with Quality Assurance methodologies Exposure to working in a retail/payment industry/Order management systems/ Supply Chain.
