Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Colorado, Texas, Hawaii, Virginia, North Carolina USC GC REMOTE ROLE BUT MUST SIT IN ONE OF THE ABOVE STATES Summary of Duties & Responsibilities BST Global is seeking a driven, passionate DevOps Engineer experienced with developing solutions for various platforms, on-prem, Azure and AWS. The ideal candidate has a site reliability engineer mindset, has technical depth and hands-on experience of DevOps practices, and works well within a team. The DevOps Engineer provides solutions and support to the entire delivery pipeline to facilitate improved collaboration, version control, standardization of environments, continuous integration, continuous deployment, continuous delivery with an emphasis on using automation to improve quality checks and deployment efficiencies, to support faster and more reliable delivery and development cycles. You demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and quality, understand, and pursue current and emerging technologies. Essential Functions Design and implement solutions to automate the CI/CD pipelines for BST applications. Build systems that dynamically scale Version Control and Merging Infrastructure provisioning, configuration, management, and monitoring Administer internal tools Azure DevOps toolset, JIRA, TeamCity Develop accurate time and effort estimates for self and team Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system and deployment issues Collaborate with multiple feature development teams to identify infrastructure needs and requirements for building and deploying their applications into shared environments. Work closely with development teams as SME to ensure deployable solutions that support best practices Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment Evaluate and recommend new tools, software, or practices that contribute to overall improvement Perform maintenance and upgrade to internal tools Perform other related duties as directed Skills & Competencies Experience in AWS, Azure, Virtualized technology Experience building CI/CD pipelines Experience with Azure Repos, Pipelines and Artifacts Experience with JIRA, Confluence, TeamCity, Azure Boards Experience in Configuration Management Experience in installing, configuring, and administering Version Control (TFS, Git) Experience in Infrastructure provisioning on-Prem and in Cloud Experience in Infrastructure as Code leveraging tools like Terraform Relational Database Experience Fluency with test runners, scripting, TFS, Xamarin Test Cloud Coding/Scripting experience (i.e Python, Groovy, Power, Bash, C#) Fluency in WiX and SetupBuilder to support package setup Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating technical activities and work assignments Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high aptitude to learn Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal and presentation skills Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task Experience implementing Application Security Testing tools preferred Education or Prior Work Experience Bachelors degree or 4 more years of work-related experience 3+ years of deep, practical expertise installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-scale software products and solutions Reports to Release Director Kind Regards, Geetanjali Banvi | Absolute IT | Technical Resource Specialist 116 Village Blvd Suite 200 Princeton New Jersey 08540 [email protected] www.absoluting.com Keywords: csharp continuous integration continuous deployment information technology green card http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=282903&uid= |
