This role will involve end-to-end testing across multiple layers from UI to backend and integration into the CI/CD pipeline. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test suites for product applications. Define automation strategy, build frameworks, and create test tools for unit, functional, and performance testing. Participate in design and code inspections, providing feedback to improve software quality. Propose and implement process improvements, develop libraries, utilities, and tools to enhance test efficiency. Identify and document defects and performance issues in production-level and integration-level code. Work across multiple technologies, including front-end UI and back-end distributed web services. Own the design and implementation of end-to-end tests for major deliverables, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams. Integrate testing processes and infrastructure automation within the CI/CD pipeline. Contribute to agile development teams adhering to 12-Factor Application Development principles. Collaborate effectively in team environments, promoting continuous improvement and quality culture. Must Have Technical / Functional Skills: Strong experience in software test automation and frameworks. Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.). Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar). Experience testing distributed systems and web services. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Preferred Skills: Hands-on experience with UI automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or P). Exposure to performance and load testing frameworks. Knowledge of 12-Factor App methodology and DevOps best practices.
