We are currently looking for a Software Vehicle Test Engineer to join our System Integration and Test (SIT) team. This position belongs to a part of our multifaceted crew that tests, measures and maintains the performance and quality of the NVIDIA autonomous products. As a member of this team, you will work closely with multi-functional teams at NVIDIA. You are encouraged to have strong communication, interpersonal, technical, and debugging skills. This role requires domestic and international travel as per job needs. What youll be doing: Handle end-to-end AV software testing for autonomous driving functions (like ACC, LK etc.) & parking, collaborating with teams across NVIDIA Automotive platform. Validate NVIDIA Drive product in the car and review requirements, develop test metrics and establish KPI-metrics evaluation. Design test routes and perform in-car tests at larger scale to ensure SW quality could match expectations of the end user. Report events as per the defined protocols including Safety and work with collaborators to improve the reports, communication. Travel to different locations to perform in-car testing based on test plans to collect proving ground and public road scenarios to ensure comprehensive real-world testing for ADAS/AS SW features. Collect quality and valuable expert feedback from in-car test drives and present them with multi-functional feature PICs/Ls. Debugging issues, collaborating with engineers to identify root causes, and chip in to process improvements. Expert in Triage or debugging tools and report the issues in right categorization. Work with Dev team closely to understand the implementation and drive the fixes to improve product quality What we need to see: 3+ years of in-car testing experience for ADAS features. BS or MS degree in Engineering or Computer Science related field (or equivalent experience). Experience with Linux/QNX systems. Technical in nature and able to elaborate as needed on the lowest detail to the highest-level vision of the job. Prior experience in Vehicle bring up, Verification and Validation test at large scale. Prior experience on AV Triage workflows. Be able to efficiently work with multiple teams. 7 days testing operation with 5days(40hrs)/week commitment. Ways to stand out from the crowd: Proven large scale in-car test experience in autonomous Driving (/+/++/L3) and Parking product with excellence in debugging and problem-solving skills. Ry to travel domestic or international as required Experience in AV development, testing or Automotive Standards ISO26262, ISO21448. A valid Driving License.
