Role: Oracle SCM Manufacturing consultant

Location : Remote

Experience: 10+ Years

Implement and configure Oracle's SCM software for manufacturing companies, including modules such as BOM (Bill of Materials), WIP (Work in Progress), Costing, Quality, Shop Floor, Maintenance, and Inventory.

Work with cross-functional teams, business process owners, and end users to understand their specific needs and requirements, and ensure that the software is configured to meet those needs.

Integrate the software with other systems and applications, such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), to ensure seamless data flow between systems.

Provide training and support to end users, including documentation and troubleshooting assistance, to ensure that the software is used effectively and efficiently.

Collaborate with other members of the IT team, including developers and system administrators, to ensure that the software is installed, configured, and maintained in accordance with best practices and industry standards.

Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Oracle's SCM software, and provide recommendations for upgrades and enhancements that can improve the performance and functionality of the software.

Identify and resolve any issues or problems with the software, and work with Oracle support as needed to resolve any issues.

Participate in the full project life cycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment, to deliver high-quality solutions.

Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including end-users, business process owners, and IT team members, to ensure that all project objectives are met.

Manage the project timelines and deliverables to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.

Should have experience in leading and mentoring the team.

The candidate should have at least 5-7 years of experience in Oracle SCM Manufacturing, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and experience with Oracle's SCM software. Experience with other Oracle modules such as EBS, Oracle Inventory, Oracle BOM, Oracle WIP, Oracle Costing is a plus. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
