Business & Requirements Analysis Collaborate with Legal, Security, Privacy, and IT teams to gather and document business requirements for compliance, data governance, and risk mitigation initiatives. Translate complex regulatory and policy requirements (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.) into actionable system and process specifications. Conduct gap assessments between current and required compliance states, identifying improvement opportunities in workflows and tools. Develop and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process maps (BPMN/Visio/Miro). 2. Legal Operations & Compliance Enablement Support automation and digitization of legal workflows such as contract lifecycle management (CLM), NDA tracking, and legal request intake. Partner with legal operations teams to define metrics for contract turnaround, risk review SLAs, and approval routing. Contribute to the rollout of CLM platforms (Ironclad, DocuSign CLM, Icertis, or similar). Ensure traceability between legal policies, system configurations, and data retention requirements. 3. Security & Privacy Governance Work closely with Security and Privacy teams to operationalize compliance with frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, and FedRAMP. Define and document data flows, data classification matrices, and retention/deletion schedules. Support the setup of Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) and consent management workflows. Analyze and document security incident response processes, escalation matrices, and audit trails. Partner with InfoSec to capture requirements for Identity & Access Management (IAM), Third-Party Risk, and Vulnerability Management systems. 4. Risk & Audit Readiness Define and manage compliance KPIs, risk registers, and evidence collection for internal/external audits. Coordinate between cross-functional teams during privacy assessments, vendor security reviews, and legal audits. Ensure policies and controls are implemented consistently across tools, workflows, and geographies. Contribute to regulatory reporting, privacy impact assessments (PIA/DPIA), and mitigation plans. 5. Stakeholder Management & Delivery Act as liaison between Legal, Security, Product, and Engineering stakeholders to ensure clarity on objectives and deliverables. Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and retrospectives for compliance and privacy initiatives. Support testing, validation, and change management for system enhancements related to legal/security workflows. Develop training materials, SOPs, and communication plans to drive adoption and awareness. Required Skills & Experience 58+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Compliance Analyst in Legal, Security, or Privacy domains. Proven experience working with Legal Ops, InfoSec, or Data Privacy teams on process/system transformations. Hands-on familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow GRC, OneTrust, BigID, Collibra, Archer, Ironclad, or Icertis. Deep understanding of data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.) and security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST). Strong documentation, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills. Proficiency in workflow modeling, data analysis (Excel/Power BI/Tableau), and Agile tools (Jira/Confluence).
