Essential Functions Facilitates Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Sprint planning, Grooming, Demo, Retrospective etc.) and track Retrospective items to closure Guides the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices Responsible for removing impediments to progress and guiding the team to remove impediments Facilitates completion of tasks and goals without using coercion, assigning, or dictating tasks Leads discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution Assists with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information Provides support to the Product Owner with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog Provides team support by utilizing a servant leadership style and leading by example Makes sure Team adheres to the defined Agile process and look for opportunity to improve it Make sure definition of done is achieved before closing any work item Assess delivery risk and raise It to management Participating and facilitating the Agile journey of the Episys product development department Attend scrum of scrums, and share ideas with other Scrum masters Understand current Agile maturity model and help moving it forward Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree required; advanced degree preferred First level Scrum Master Certification (CSM or PSM I) required At least 3 years experience in a Scrum Master role for a software development team that utilized Scrum principals, practices, and theory Minimum of 10 years experience Experience in the transformation an organization from legacy SDLC/waterfall to Agile is a plus Knowledge And Skills Excellent skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency Excellent knowledge of well documented patterns and techniques for filling intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps or similar agile delivery management tool Proven experience on Scrum Agile techniques Excellent knowledge on software development life cycle Previous experience acting as a team lead is a plus Excellent communication and mentoring skills Experience in working with distributed Team members spread across multiple locations and time zones.
