Snowflake Developer Location : Remote Role Description: Snowflake Developer The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years of solid Data warehousing experience with 2+ years in snowflake. Junior developers with 3-4 years of pure snowflake experience can also be included. They must be at ease working in an agile environment. The person should be self-motivated with a passion for problem-solving and continuous learning. Role and responsibilities Design, Build, Develop, Deploy and maintain Applications using the Snowflake Platform Understand business objectives and suggest & build Snowflake applications Able to perform Data Quality checks and Validation rules at every stage of data processing Experience loading and unloading data with different file types like PARQUET, AVRO, CSV, JSON, XML etc. Hand-on experience with snowsql, writing procedures etc. Migration of application from on-premises data to the snowflake platform Strong SQL language and Data warehousing knowledge Strong Experience with snowflake architecture Experience with stages, pipes , CTE , Window Functions etc. Knowledge of Time Travel , storage, and execution costs , secure data sharing etc. Experience of using Code Versioning and Build Process tools like GIT Self-motivated and self-driven individual who can work against tight timelines Learn new technologies as per the demand in the project Develop solutions to challenging complex business problems Effectively communicate with team members, project managers and clients, as required Technical skills requirements The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in, Develop and maintain applications using Snowflake services. Discuss solutions for problems that are not fully defined and highlight the roadblocks early in the project lifecycle. Collaborate and participate in the solution review call and technical meetings with other leads, engineers, and product owners. Strong development experience using Snowflake platform Design and build internal snowflake applications.
