[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Positions: Technical Project Planning & Scheduling Lead Work Location: Two Days On-site from day one Duration: 6+ months (possible extension) Rate: Quote your best Duties & Responsibilities: For IT initiatives defined as Small and Medium level Enterprise Applications. Performs project planning, resourcing and scheduling. Convenes cross-functional teams and drives project activity to defined milestones and deliverables. Monitors, tracks, and reports on project schedules. Updates project stakeholders through weekly status reports and appropriate meetings. Documents decisions and processes and ensures knowledge transfer to Operations at the close of the project. Performs delegated project management lifecycle activities such as schedule management and report generation for largescale programs and projects. Supports the IT PMO by gathering and synthesizing data and information required for the implementation of IT implementations and process improvement initiatives. Ensures adherence to internal review processes and technical standards. Supports the development and implementation of IT PMO processes, tools, techniques, and measures. Must have Skills: At least 10+ years of directly related Project planning, Resourcing and Scheduling experience. Excellent understanding of Project Management Principles and Methodologies. Thorough knowledge of Business Management concepts. Strong interpersonal, written communications, and persuasive skills; comfortable and effective working with peers. Expert with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint, and excellent working knowledge of Project. Strong understanding of, and commitment to, continuous business improvement processes. Experience building and maintaining cross-functional relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Experience with IT application development and architecture is desired.
