Masters Degree in Computer Science (or related field) with 3 years of database/ ETL development experience using SQL Server and SSIS technologies. T-SQL development experience - 6+ years SSIS development experience - 6+ years Reporting/data analysis 6+ years Fuzzy matching and Grouping (must have) Extensive knowledge of Replication Data analysis, data mapping, data migration, writing specifications for system interfaces Optimization of indexes Optimization of stored procedures Stored procedure and function scripting as required to support projects/tasks Database performance tuning MSSQL Database Administrator experience required +5 years Oversight of database design and the enforcement of companywide usage of SQL best practices and development standards Work with other database administrators, developers, technical analysts, architects, and project management teams to refine the application design requirements based on customers business needs Create ad hoc SQL queries customer reports, executive management reports Duties/Job Responsibilities: Analyze, design, develop and maintain ETL/SSIS applications that service internal and external vendor and client systems aligning with the business needs. Create detailed specification documents based on business requirements. Develop quick prototypes for business stakeholder verification to use as a foundation for design/development solutions. Create and execute testing plans and procedures. Automate processes using software tools and scripts. Manage system enhancements and upgrades. Participate in latest technology research applicable to meet new business challenges. Provide guidance, mentoring, education, and leadership on how to effectively create and support the applications. Follow best practices for technology and business level technology implementation. Conduct system architecture reviews to guarantee corporate alignment. Conduct code level and other systems quality assurance tests and procedures. Experience with enterprise architecture tools such as MS SQL Server Management Tools, source control, defect tracking, integration, and workflow tools.
