Hiring: Business Analyst Investment Banking Back Office Need Someone who has exp as investments banker, Accounts that kind Location: Whippany, NJ (Hybrid) Visa: / only We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong Investment Banking Back-Office experience who understands accounting flows, subledger processing, and trade lifecycle events. Mandatory Skills & Experience Candidates must have hands-on experience in Investment Bankingspecifically Back Office, Settlements, and Accounting areas: Key Responsibilities / Required Experience Strong understanding of Subledger and Main Ledger processes for Fixed Income trades. Experience with trade lifecycle event postings into subledger accounts within settlement systems. Knowledge of account configuration and the event posting process for Subledger & Main Ledger. Understanding of Investment Bank account types: Balance Sheet Accounts P&L Accounts Ability to perform reconciliation of balances at book level, account level, and granular transaction levels. Experience in monitoring reconciliation breaks and identifying root causes. Knowledge of configuring Accounting Entry Rules (AET) in subledger accounting systems. Ability to perform manual journal entries using AET and understanding which side of the balance to post. Hands-on experience with reverse entries for settlement failures. Ability to calculate P&L adjustments and post entries for back-dated trades. Understanding of trade settlement processes to support accounting and event posting.
