Job Title: Senior SolarWinds Engineer Location: Richmond, VA Rate: $53 /hr on C2C JD: Competencies: SolarWinds - 10+ years experience Role Description: SolarWinds Monitoring Deploy, configure, and maintain SolarWinds for comprehensive infrastructure monitoring across the organization. Develop custom monitoring templates, dashboards, and alerts to ensure timely detection of network and infrastructure issues. Monitor system performance metrics and proactively identify potential problems using SolarWinds. Create detailed reports on network and infrastructure performance, capacity planning, and incident tracking. Troubleshoot and resolve monitoring issues, ensuring continuous visibility into system health. Technical Skills: Proficiency in writing and managing Power scripts in automating complex workflows. Good understanding about ServiceNow ITOM module, including asset discovery, tracking, IPAM and reporting. Advanced experience with SolarWinds, including the creation of custom monitoring solutions. Good understanding of ITIL processes, particularly around IT asset management and incident management. Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Power) is a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, prioritizing based on business needs.
