The SAP Archiving Architect will play a critical role in the implementation and execution of projects & initiatives aimed at curbing data growth in the SAP landscape. Responsibilities include: 1. Data volume analysis across multiple large SAP systems 2. Working with various groups to define scope and gather business requirements 3. Provide conceptual and detailed designs (Solutiom Architecture Document) to meet business needs. 4. Configuring both standard and custom Archive objects 5. Monitor Archiving jobs for effectiveness & completeness 6. Re-evaluate and update Archiving jobs to optimize existing runs 7. Prior SAP Data Archiving experience Strong verbal and written communication skills 8. Experience with SAP Upgrade Projects and Disaster Recovery especially related to SAP Data Archiving Functionality 9. Knowledge of Archiving solutions and tools (preferably ILM, OpenText) 10. Experience with ArchiveLink Imaging Functionality. (Storage and Retrieval of Attachments) 11. Experience with high-volume SAP Implementations (working with multi-terrabyte systems) 12. Can work equally as part of a team and on an individual level with minimal supervision.
