http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=297717&uid= From: Venu, Idc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Checkpoint Firewall Engineer Min Experience: 8+ years Solid experience configuring and supporting either Checkpoint and Cisco ASA firewall infrastructure Min 4+ years of experience in Checkpoint firewalls including creating rules to fulfill requests and adhering to prescribed change management practices, policy management and trouble shooting Understanding of Checkpoint VPN (creation and management), IPS/IDS, Identity Awareness, and Firewall functions and operations (proxy, proxy-arp, NAT, stateful packet inspection) Ideal candidate will have experience and understanding of network concepts like TCP, UDP, IP, the OSI Model Well versed in operating systems such as Linux and Windows Strong troubleshooting skills including Identify/diagnose network configuration and/or performance irregularities The ability to analyze network packet captures and to troubleshoot network issues related to firewall management Monitor Service Now application for Firewall Operations incident and service requests Ability to work with customers and vendors IT teams to trouble shoot complex issues Performs recurring maintenance activities such as device reboots on perimeter devices 8 or more years of background supporting Cisco-based routing and switching infrastructure in large enterprise environments Good working experience on Cisco Firepower Solid experience in large enterprise WAN routing Good verbal and written documentation skills Must be a strong self-starter and able to balance multiple concurrent activities Ability to collaborate and work on a team Assist in maintaining high performance levels, maximum uptime and overall integrity of internal and production systems Work collaboratively with Development to deploy and operate our systems Responsible for incident response as needed to correct system failures Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in architecture or engineering projects Provide advice, training and technical support for various projects Identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans Look for ways to harden environment and keep ahead of emerging threats Participate in and contribute to the evaluation, design, installation and maintenance of network, systems and security systems Participate in and contribute to risk management, business continuity management, policy review and compliance audits Look for ways to improve and streamline processes and procedures Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations Other duties and responsibilities as assigned, maintain and support infrastructure for all environments.
